Greetings Dear Friends

Welcome to the Slidell Louisiana blog site. I am glad you have joined us for this journey and I ask that you keep the entire team in your prayers. As I make the final preparations for our departure, on Saturday morning at 0530, I am amazed at what I see our Great God doing as we prepare for this mission trip. His blessings are already abundant!
Please check back often as we keep you posted on the work, the fun, and the journey. I pray that this blog will help you go with us, and grow with us, as this team of volunteers serves our Brothers and Sisters in need.

  1. Hello dear friends of Pine Grove Church: You will all be in my prayers and thoughts over these next couple weeks. I pray the GOD will keep you safe and make your mission another spirit led venture. I will certainly miss my choir members, but we'll do the best we can without until you all return. May GOD be with all of you and bless you and the work you will be doing in the name of GOD.

We hope your trip down has been filled with the love and joy of being with each other and that the trip was a smooth one. We pray your stay and worship in TN is filled with God's spirit. As you arrive in Slidell, our prayers continue to sustain you for all that's before you. May you find great joy and gladness in the love that will come with your service to others in Jesus' name. I'll blog again soon and look forward to your updates! Pastor Bob

You were all certainly in our prayers this morning at Sunday service and will continue to be. We're looking forward to seeing some photos and hearing from you.

    Take care and GOD bless.

  5. Greetings in the name of Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Pam Ness did a great Children's Sermon this morning with the kids. She showed them a map of your journey from PA to LA. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers this week. You will touch so many lives with your words, actions and presence. Everyone will see God's love shining out through you. Many, many blessings, Student Pastor Beth

  10. Glad to see that roof going on. The warehouse is amazing. Before the week is over I would love to see a picture of Lonna with a hammer in her hand.

  11. Hello Friends-
So glad you all made it to Louisiana. What a wonderful feeling it must be to be busily making some grateful folks feel God's presence all around them.
Be safe...and know you are all in our prayers.
    Warmly,
    The Gray Family

  12. Well, you are all braver than me. I could not get myself up on a roof and do that work without a lot of fear. The weather in Pennsy has been snow and rain and cold nights (around 20). I've sent your site around to a number of PGUM folks and so I belive you have a lot of followers right now. Don't let Tim, Lonna and Shirley yell too much. I need their voices in the choir when they return. We're looking forward to hearing about your mission and trip when you all return. Stay healthy and safe.
Take care and GOD bless all of you.
